Background and Education
Ross Harwell, owner and principal provider of client services at HEAR Toronto, holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science degree in Audiology from Washington University in St. Louis and a Doctor of Audiology Degree from Salus University. He also held a clinical fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Experience
Ross has experience in a variety of settings including private practice, auditory research and, most recently, the hearing aid industry, where he trained other hearing care professionals in all aspects of new hearing aid technology. He is also a member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO).
Suzanne Turpin, B.A., M.Cl.Sc., Au.D.
Suzanne Turpin is a Doctor of Audiology and an associate at HEAR Toronto; she also holds a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology (Linguistics). She is licensed by the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and has provided audiologic services across clinical and industrial settings since 1999.
Suzanne is committed to providing patients with hearing loss and other auditory disorders the highest quality of evidence-based and individualized care. She carefully guides patients through the rehabilitation process with a focus on improving quality of life. In addition to her extensive clinical skills, Suzanne is able to offer patients objective advice in a caring, comfortable and professional environment.
